Mitchell Scarvaci has been given the captain's armband for the 2010/2011 season after former captain Jake Pearce-Vogan is due to leave the club in the coming months.

Originally captain from Revolution's inception, Scarvaci handed in his captaincy after the Dragon's 9-5 loss to BAA Heathrow Reserves in October 2009. He believed that a fresh approach to things was needed, something which Manager Kieran Smith agreed to.

But after captaining Revolution in the League Shield Quarter and Semi Finals aswell as lifitng the League Shield alongside Pearce-Vogan, Smith couldn't look past Scarvaci's qualities which originally rewarded with him the captaincy in the first place.

On Scarvaci's Twitter, the centre midfielder said "so so proud to be captain of Revo again. Time for the league title!". A league title that Kieran Smith and Scarvaci is looking forward to challenging for over the next season.
