Mitchell Scarvaci's League Shield Final goal against Pinkneys Green has been voted as Goal of the Season by the Revolution Players and Staff.

With Revolution 1-0 down to an early Pinkneys Green header, Revolution were looking to bounce back immediately. Step up Scarvaci. And he did. Unleashing a strike from 30 yards is something you may not contemplate so early on and in a Cup Final. Not the number 7 though. After picking up the ball after a defender's headed clearance, Scarvaci hit the ball with a touch of spin. The ball seemingly missing the goal. But a late break on the ball took the ball past the Pinkneys Green goalkeeper.

This strike and the performance that followed galvanised the Dragons, his contributions sending Revo to League Shield glory.
Scarvaci said of the goal; "you only dream on scoring one of them in a Final". He's right. It is the stuff that dreams are made of. Revolution:TV were lucky enough to grab the footage of the goal. A goal that has been seen over and over again.

Calum Brown's half volley into the top corner against Britwell Ex Service, also in the League Shield grabbed second place while Lee Hunt's winner in the same competition after a Scarvaci cross grabbed third place.
