Captain Jake Pearce-Vogan is to leave Revolution as well as Maidenhead when he and family leave the Berkshire area.

Jake was an ever present member in the 2009/2010 season, starting off the season as vice-captain and ending up as the Captain of the club, which saw him lifting Revolution's first trophy; the League Shield alongside ex-captain Mitchell Scarvaci.

Jake rejoined Revo for his second spell after leaving the Dragons after the 2007/2008 season when he went over to the United States to enhance his coaching skills. Jake used the skills he learned out there to further his playing skills as well as using the knowledge he gained to help Revolution move forward.

Jake, 21, is a valued member of the side, and all round great person. His presence will be missed throughout the season, not just a player for Revolution but as a friend to many.

Although a leaving date is still up in the air, Pearce-Vogan is expected to still be apart of Kieran Smith's pre-season training and an advisor for the new season.

A new captain will be announced in the next few days.
