Midfielders David Aspinall and Ricky Rapley have returned to Revolution after their season long loan to Maidenhead Nomads.

Their successful loan was part in part a reason for both players to gain some more playing time with Kieran Smith couldn't guarantee for the 2009/2010 season. However with the Dragons' creation of a reserve team, more opportunities have arisen for Rapley and Aspinall as well as other players.

Ricky, a Revolution original and brother of 2008/2009 Manager's Player of the Season, Dan said of his return to Revo, "I'm glad to be back and want this season to show how much I have improved over the last season, on and off the pitch".

David Aspinall, who joined Revo in the summer of 2008 says he is "looking forward at coming home to Revo and looking to show on the pitch the experience he has gathered  over the last season".
