David duddles: Best newcomer
27/05/10 by Kieran Smith

David Duddles has been voted by his team mates as their Best Newcomer for the 2009/2010 season.
The category was open to all players who have been at Revolution for less than one year. David Duddles joined Revolution in November in time for the Dragons 3-2 win over Royal Free in the county cup.
Duddles has made 17 appearances this season and has provided a superb addition to the defensive line. Solid and dependable, Duddles also provides an option further up the pitch, whipping in crosses and working the line. David has also grabbed a goal this season in the 4-2 defeat to Eton Rifles.
Duddles determination and desire to play has impressed Manager Kieran Smith especially when asked if he wanted to be rested before Revo's cup final. Duddles reply. "I want to play 90 minutes". The same answer was said 5 days later in the 2-1 defeat to Shooting Staines. Smith also believes that Duddles is possibly one of the best signings the Dragons have made. Calum Brown has stated that he feels more comfortable and relaxed with Duddles
alongside him.
In a season which has seen David become a father for the first time and enjoying success in his first year at Revo, Smith knows that Duddles will be a key component to any future success.
