Revolution original, Craig Anderson leaves Revolution for university as he looks to build on a future career in media.

After 63 appearances and 8 goals, Anderson will be going to Leeds University where after 3 years of studying media at college, Craig will look to build on his studies.

Craig joined Revolution in the summer of 2007 and playing a part in the first friendly in the 5-2 win over Duke of York. He scored Revolution's first competitive hat-trick in the 7-5 victory over Microblast United Reserves, all of his goals in the first half. Another 4 goals later, the last of which was in the 4-3 loss to eventual 2007/08 Division 5 Champions, Thames Electric,

However, in 2008, after half a season on the wing, Anderson was converted to a full back and at times a centre back in a 3-5-2 formation. Anderson seemed to naturally fit in at the back, first alongside Jake Pearce-Vogan and Chris Defranco in season 1 then with John Woodhatch and Ryan Myles in Season 2.

Craig ended up season 2 with the least goals conceded by any Revolution defence in 3 seasons. Revolution started off season 3 with makeshift defensive units, where Revo conceded many goals.  However, Craig was moved back to his favoured left wing position and in his 50th appearance for Revo, Craig scored his 8th and final goal in three seasons in the 3-2 win over Royal Free in the County Cup.

Manager, Kieran Smith and all players and staff from Maidenhead Revolution would like to wish Craig well at university, even though, Smith won't have any sympathy for him when he wakes up with a banging hangover from the night before.
