Calum Brown has been awarded the Manager's Player of the Season for the 2009/2010 season.

Manager, Kieran Smith has pinpointed Calum's passion, determination and desire for the club as one of his main reasons behind his pick. "Calum has shown an unquestionable amount of passion for the club in a short time".

Brown, who joined Revo in the summer of 2009, played his first competitive match in goal for the Dragons in the 5-3 victory over Britwell Ex Service. Although a position he has played before on numerous occasions, Calum has become a comfortable player at centre back. Adhering to the fashion of "footballing centre backs", Calum is very comfortable with the ball at his feet and is very calm under pressure.

This season Brown has scored 6 goals. Mostly from set pieces, Brown's ability of headering the ball is something that Revolution have lacked over the
previous two seasons. Unluckily, Brown's exquisite half volley from outside of the box agaisnt Britwell was goal of the season until Mitchell Scarvaci's blinder in the League Shield Final. The 2010/2011 season will be a season that Brown will be an important part of, as Smith looks to improve on the foundations at the club.

One low point if the season for Calum though was when he went off injured in the 2-2 draw with The Rising Sun. His ankle injury ruled him out for the League Shield Final. He was absolutely gutted and many a player felt for him too. But Calum's desire to help Revo as much from the sidelines in the final shone through - starting the "super Revo FC" chant and trying his best to spur the Dragon's on from the sidelines.
